7/10/2023 0 Comments Iberostar paraiso maya nightlife![]() I'm not a 'foody' so I was cool with it all. Overall the food was good but dont expect 5* from a 3.5* all inclusive resort. We especially liked asian at the beach/del mar, and cajun at the lindo. Do not be afraid to eat at other hotels in the complex. it's true, email and make your 2 reservations in advance. Highly reccomended, happy to share her contact info. The resort wanted $400+ but my brother found an amazing photographer for $80. We wanted to get family photos for my mom. Beach offers full facilities - bathrooms, food, drink, etc. Don't miss the Paella cook out on the beach. They are pretty agressive and wont hesitiate to jump up on your table at the beach and steal your buger or beer. While the coatis (racoon like critters) may seem cute, I wasn't a big fan. The shopping center is amazing and best of all the casino is now open for biz! Taco shop, night club, burger place, stuff for kids, you will def find yourself there a night or two. The resort is in fact huge and they can get you anywhere (beach, del mar, etc) in 2 min vs a 7-10 min walk. No one cared, or knew, we were not staying there. Wow - top shelf booze, better theatre, beautiful lobby, but kind of quiet and a lot of old people. Call it wrong, don't really care, but my wife and I snuck on over to The Grand for about 2 hours. Rather than rehash and be redundant talking about everything the 1200 other reviewers have stated over and over again (like the resort is huge!) I'll stick to observations: -The maya is def nicer but I would not hesitate to stay at the Lindo if the rate was significantly less. We were a family of 11 from aged 2 up to 75 so we experienced it all - from kids activities to casinos and nightlife. Just got back from the Maya and overall very good spot IF you know what to expect in advance. ![]() The maya is def nicer but I would not hesitate to stay at the Lindo if the rate was significantly less.
